[labradoodles] OK, I'm a little obsessed!

I got such great advice from other dog owners when we first rescued Willy who was 4 months old.  But, I'll give you the top two winners! First, I made him comfortable with being touched in his ears, his paws, and his teeth.  I would rub, play, tickle, and stick my fingers in- ensuring that he would grow up to be comfortable with getting his teeth cleaned, his ears cleaned and his toenails clipped.  and he has!   Second, because he was a rescue, I was uncertain how he would greet children and older people so, whenever someone was approaching us - I made Willy sit and wait for them to come to us.  People really appreciate it to this day not having this big furry black dog running towards them!   Best of luck, you're going to love this breed!
