Eddy, Thanks for the comprehensive advice on house training our pooch.
Yes, he was a kennel dog, and being used to a hard surface, that is
what he wanted here, once we got him home. We are now doing things
differently, and will approach this from a different mindset. I
especially thought your comments about tethering were helpful. He was
sneaking away from us, and that is all it took to do his business when
we couldn't catch him. We at least did refrain from scolding or
yelling at him, so we got that part right. Ha Thanks again for your
