My puppy was 4 months old when I got him from the breeder and he was better
behaved then ..Sam I am is now 10 months old and is a wild man  because of
us not the breeder LOL...

Most breeders will tell you a lot about the puppies behavior Â… bad habits
can already be there and ones you may not be able to change.
If your lucky he/she was started very well and is well behavedÂ… check for
excessive barking, not coming (this should be taught as a young pup), 
Biting kids and or other dogs, attaching small animals.. all sounds silly
but just ask.

I found one pup is 18 weeks old, housetrained and has all shots for 
first year. This breeder is from the recommended list. Is that anything 
I should be alert about buying an older puppy? They reduced price too.
