You can always buy the pedigree and donate it to your local shelter. Then you 
have helped homeless animals TWICE!!! I am with the person who said that no one 
should feel pedigree to their dog. At the shelter I work at we take what we can 
get and mix it all together. We would WAY rather have pedigree than Ol' Roy, 
but I would never feed either one to my own personal dogs.
