It is possible to avoid that using a redundant network stack controller, isn't it?

There was a network glitch due to a kernel crash on one of the machines controlling the network stack.
On top of that, the high availability didn't kick in as fast as it probably should have. That is still being investigated.

Someone with better knowledge may probably provide further details, and what is being done to avoid that in the future, but network should be up again, with only around 15 minutes of unavailability.
