Both of our ldap servers are currently refusing most connections. The
problem is well-understood and a fix is in progress.
In the meantime: most currently running services should continue to work
just fine. Shell and web logins (and sudo) on most Tools and Labs/VPS
infrastructure will fail until ldap service is restored, and there will
be all kinds of weird warnings and alerts as puppet fails all over the
place.
I'll send another email when normal service is restored. It's unlikely
that users will need to do anything to follow up.
