As a sort of sandbox project I'd like as widespread interest as can be garnered. When it's mature enough, moving it into the conferences project would make sense. Right now though, I don't think it does. > Would you be interested in bringing the software/website into the > Conferences PMC space? The ApacheCon Web site is in our SVN, but access is extremely restricted because of some things like database access passwords. This 'reg api' thing has actually grown in my mind to encompass the whole nine yards -- the complete interface between our database and outside vendors. A start was made a couple of years ago specifically so Santiago could convert the schedule into iCal format; see http://apachecon.com//html/sessions.xml/e=MjAwNy9FVQ That's what I'm supplying to our current producer, who is going to be having lots of stuff on their Web site -- like the main schedule. Since they're going to be managing the schedule now, that identified a need to have *our* database be updatable by *them*, so we can track what sessions get cancelled, moved, et cetera. So it's getting bigger. -- #ken P-)} Ken Coar, Sanagendamgagwedweinini http://Ken.Coar.Org/ Author, developer, opinionist http://Apache-Server.Com/ "Millennium hand and shrimp!" --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
