Bad wording from me. I mean go to incubator, leave as sub-project of a TLP and when the time has come go TLP. I think the actual case that a labs project needs to be promoted since it has become to noisy (in the good sense) has revealed some needed specification on the procedure of promoting a labs project. Droids is and will use lots of work done in lucene. Since integration of tika is ongoing and Mahout I am keen to integrate as well very soon. If not before I guess would be awesome to do it on the Hackton on ApacheCon.
