Fellow researchers,
After Ashish has fixed the apt ant build target (thanks!), it's now time
to showcase the spec compliance documentation.
XMPP is comprised of many spec documents, the two most important RFCs
being in bis-state (currently in review and active editing). This makes
it difficult to track where an implementation for a specific part of the
spec is done and what spec (revision) it adheres to.
So Gerolf Seitz introduced Java annotations to track this a while ago.
(see package [1].)
Myself expanded these recently and wrote an annotation parser used with
apt to turn this into a nice HTML document.
So, I uploaded a current javadoc snapshot to people.a.o together with
the compliance doc[3] to give an impression how this works.
Enjoy,
Bernd
