Hi Patricia et al,

I can endorse what Nicky says! I took my Advanced Driving Test about
thirty-five years ago, and found the hardest bit was the commentary one had
to do whilst driving. Normally, I can talk the hind leg off a donkey (just
where did that expression originate?) but when I am concentrating hard, the
speech process seemed to evaporate! I don't know whether they still
require a commentary, but it was certainly a trial! But it was great to
have passed - and to be able to show the Advanced Driving logo on the sports
car, driven by a young female person! Much to the dismay of quite a few
male drivers who feel (know?) they are much better behind the wheel than us
females, just because they are chaps!

Carol - in a lovely warm and sunny East Anglia.
