My son's comment (got the message from him) was: "very throroughly dealt with :)" The word "thorough" is one of the pitfals mentioned in the text but "thoroughly" has a special significance in our household... The head of the English dept when I was at the Warsaw U pronounced "thorough" correctly, but, for some reason, "thoroughly" was pronounced as "roughly", just with an added prefix :) So that a) there were hundreds of us mispronouncing it ("like prayer after Lady Mother" to use a Polish phrase), and b) when visiting professors (either from UK or US) came and used it correctly, we couldn't understand it... Once we did, we always, kindly, corrected their pronounciation, of course :) Since my DH was one of the visiting professors who'd been "corrected", the whole has become an "in-house" joke.
But you can see why I dislike talking on the phone here even more than I did in Poland :)

Finally, which rhymes with enough -- Though, through, plough, or dough, or cough? Hiccough has the sound of cup. My advice is to give up!!!
