Well, I'm halfway through the latest Harry Potter..this in spite of interfering phone calls and visiting my Mum and Dad for half a day :) DH and I have sort of worked out a schedule so we can both be reading it. Now to the nitty gritty. This book definately gives a lot more background than the previous books, which is interesting. However, I don't think the book, so far, is quite up to the standards of earlier ones. There is a lot of anger and less action. I really wonder if children will stick with it this time. Objectively, I suppose you could say that HP and friends are behaving as one would expect 15 yr. olds. I'm a bit disappointed, but naturally will reserve final judgement until I've finished the book and have the overall mood :) Well, back to it..there is something about knowing there are millions of other people in the world all united this weekend, reading a much anticipated book, and of one actually being part of it.:) Too bad it doesn't occur in other aspects of life.
