But the *rainfall* on the 'globe' seems
certainly to be fluctuating wildly !

*Only* where there *is* a forest to 'have
a cycle' and "regrow" - clearcutting/burning
where there is very little topsoil (jungles are
notoriously thin-layered, as are steeper mountain-
sides) there is nothing to 'redistribute', when
the trees are gone, so is the 'wildlife' for the
lifetimes of *several* generations of humans
- - - or else *permanently*, as in *extinction*.
