There is at least one enterprise similar to this in North America with a clever name - that I forget - duh! - based on fishing terms ' catch and release' or something like that. You release a book in to the 'wild' (for example a lobby of a hotel, a waiting room at the airport, doctor's office, etc.) with a label on it 'free book' and some instructions about posting to its website that when someone 'catches' this book, they write that they've found it and what they thought of the book. and leave it somewhere else, perhaps, ad infinitum. -- bye for now Bev who has not caught any books in Sooke, BC (west coast of Canada) Cdn. floral bobbins http://www.victoria.tc.ca/~wt912
