I looked down and saw a dotted line: a highway with lights so spaced that drivers would be constantly flicking between equal intervals of sunny brightness and stygian darkness. No lights at all would have been much safer! Or if the light *must* be intermittent, couldn't they use low frequencies so as not to mess up dark adaption?
