Years ago we had a pet ferret who developed digestive problems. The vet said the antibiotics she had been on several months previously had also killed the beneficial bacteria in her digestive system, and we could replace this by feeding her a half teaspoon yogurt twice a day for a couple of weeks. The first day she got one whiff of the yogurt and shook her head away so fast she knocked the spoon and sent the yogurt flying! Once we figured out we could feed it to her from a medicine dropper we had no further problems. By the third or forth day she was lapping it up from a spand begging for more. Blueberry was her favorite flavor.
