Dear S.P. from Hants, Your package arrive and I am delighted with all enclosed. I got a real chuckle out of the strawberry hankie and are grown and known in your area of the U.K. We also are in a strawberry grown area! in fact have a Strawberry Festival every year! That they were much more plentiful when there were fewer houses. Most of the local farm land is lost to tacky, all jammed, tight in a row houses which are rapidly thrown together, too small for growing families and and way over priced. I grew up in this area and remember large fields of strawberries in season, as well as other fresh veggies. The high prices do wonders for housing values, but I would hate to live in them. back yards with no place to play, just a carport wide! I wanted to tell you how many "ohs, ahs" I received last night when I was showing off the things my S.P. had sent from the U.K.! The earrings made their eyes pop along with the key ring with the tatted butterfly. And everyone wanted to know just where I got my bobbin bag. The glass bobbin was also a hit, most had not seen one close( and certainly not as pretty as the one you sent!) And the mini bobbins, so cute! I did not have a lace roller, its perfect. And I will enjoy using the drafting pen for prickings. The tea gets you going, no doubt! and the candies are a sweet surprise. Many Thanks for All you gifts. I have been there, stopped to have tea at Boddin Moor and we touring at Tintagle castle ruins. Loved the area. Can say for sure looking out over the sea, that I had been one of the Pilgrims who wanted to leave England and I saw just how BIG the ocean looked with no land in sight, knowing how seasick I get, I would STILL be in England! I have toured one of the "tall ships" here and I could not make a journey in one of those ships! I don't even do well on a big cruise ship!
