One of my favorite gifts was a "mix-meal" put together for me by a friend. She used mason jars topped with fabric, and filled one with mixed beans with a small baggie of spices on top (it made a minestrone soup). Another jar had all of the dry ingredients for biscotti and the recipe on the side. She put them in a stamped and colored paper bag with ribbons. It was a pretty gift, and a great meal :) Mikki Fairbanks Alaska (where we are FINALLY getting SNOW!!!)
