Early in October, my DH and I boarded the plane to fly back from Adelaide to
Sydney after the Australian Lace Guild Annual conference.

Just before the doors of the plane were closed, the flight attendant came on
the p.a. for the second reminder about switching off mobile phones for the
duration of the flight. After the standard warning, she added another comment:
"If you're not sure how to switch your mobile phones off, please ask your
children"!
