Why wattle? It should be Flanders poppies for ANZAC Day!
To be strictly correct, the Flanders poppies were originally used on Remembrance Day (Nov 11th). The strange thing is that these days I can never get one to flower until about Nov 25th! All the local nurseries agree with me. I wonder whether they might be just that week or two earlier down in Melbourne. They're certainly not out in April - shame.
