Brian, I didn't make any accusations as to why it wasn't published in Suffolk - I thought the succeeding paragraph exlained that when I started in Essex Lace, the system was already going strong, and wished to revive it. It proved to be popular, and so it was decided, by those who came, that it should perhaps be widened, which prompted the account to Arachne. And maybe you will find a similar message to the one in Essex Lace Makers newsletter, re putting the advert in the Suffolk newsletter - I can't be held responsible for the vagaries of the ether - as you say, other things have been put in the Newsletter which I have sent via eMail, and maybe the message sent to you last Wednesday is sitting there still! Or maybe not - these things happen to the eMails sometimes, in my experience anyway - but perhaps I have just been unlucky at times!
I am sorry you feel aggrieved - to repeat, I was hoping to revive a practise in Essex Lace Makers about twenty-five years ago. The ladies who attended last Wednesday seemed to enjoy the day, and so the idea was to widen the circle slightly, hence the Arachne message, and the eMail to your good self. I have to say, I have read my original message below, and feel that the second paragraph explains the reason that it was mainly Essex ladies there, as well as my class members - perhaps if you read it more carefully, you would agree.
