That's why my original sig only said I was in "Somerset" which isn't even
strictly true as my county council goes by the name of "Bath and North East
Somerset County Council" :o) I thought I was very good at trying to be
completely anonymous until I realised that I still had my full name in
Yahoo webmail which I sometimes use one the Uni computers. Now I don't
mind as I'm sure I'll meet enough Arachneans when I actually have money to
go to some of these events everyone keeps on talking about. If anyone
wanted to stalk me, my surname is common enough that he'd have a few
problems even finding out who I am. If you're concerned, it might be worth
putting your name into Google and seeing where you appear. I have about 3
or 4 fairly prominent people who share my name so it's quite difficult to
find *me*

i think that it would be dangerous to put your city and state on the
internet, even though in other emails we have all done it. all you
need is a phone book in the city and state and then you have the
address of whoever you want. i live in a small town and all you have
to do is mention my last name and half the county residents can tell
you where i live. probably i am related to 1/4th of the entire city
consisting of about 8000. an internet stalker would love that and why
give in to such
crazies.
