Today I remembered that there are heaps more of Australian expressions. I
was thinking about the movie "Bazza McKenzie" in which a lot were used:-
- the one-eyed trouser snake (male genitalia)
- going to have a quick snake's (rhyming slang for snake's hiss = piss)
- to point percy at the procelain (take a leak)
- the have a technicolour yawn (vomit)
- splash the boots (take a leak)
- map of Tassie (female genitalia)
- playing pocket billiards (men playing with themselves thinking they are
unobserved)
- as lifeless as a dead dingo's donga
- shake hands with the wife's best friend (take a leak or wank)
- go and visit Mrs. Johnson and her 5 daughters (referring to one's hand
and fingers = wank)
- a good dose of the squitters (diarrhoea and vomitting - usually the type
you get when travelling)
- built like a brick shithouse (someone who is large and muscular)
I'll remember more as I use them :)
