What can you expect??? Presumably, the teachers making up those
exercises are not native Spanish speakers <g> Also, whenever math
skills go up (like, requiring you to subtract and divide, not just
underline), the language skills go down...
Loved your "chester drawers" (though, surely, it should have been
"chester's drawers"? Or is it just my dirty mind?), and Jean's
"nightie, nightie, nigh" even more - would have loved to let Freud
loose on that one <g>
As for what maths standards used to be like... I'd recommend reading
