I've been making some ornaments after buying some Springett kits I found at
Greta's Garage Sale at the convention. A 13 year old Estonian girl started
making one of them to give to her mother for Christmas, but she hasn't been
able to come for a few weeks now. As Christmas get closer I think she'll
make an effort to finish it.
Meanwhile, DH is in the UK (near Oxford) performing an IT audit for a
engineering company, whose Chairman, with his wife, are living here in
Tartu. They moved here last year to set up a manufacturing site here & Erik
has been helping set up the IT & communication needs of the site. He gets
back late Thursday, so I'm left to hold the fort. I have my language
classes to attend as well the usual chores. Is there anyone who lives in
Abingdon, or Oxford?
But it gets a little lonesome without another adult to converse with.
Although yesterday I gave a knitting lesson to an American mother of a 3
year old boy who is here with her husband on a Fulbright Teacher Exchange
program.
Got to get to my class now,
Pene
