I would like to share some sad news, especially for any Australians who
have done any research into their family history. Nick Vine Hall wrote a
very useful book called
"Tracing Your Family History in Australia" & had a radio show also. See:

Sadly Nick died on Tuesday, 31 Oct. 2006 in Melbourne from bone cancer. I
met him when I lived in Sydney when my father was researching our family
trees. His most recent book called "The Happy Huguenots" has my father & my
youngest son listed among the many descendants of the Roubel family who
also have had the Roubel name given to them.
His passion for genealogy will be sorely missed by many people. RIP Nick.
