Hello Jean

I think that you are probably right in thinking that Earthlink have gone over the top with their spam filters. That sort of thing does happen from time to time with some ISPs. Last time it happened to me I contacted my ISP and his SYS Admin (whatever/whoever that is!) complained to the offending ISP and it got sorted pretty quickly. I suggest that you or your DH contact Freeserve.

I need help from someone who uses Earthlink as their ISP.

DH is having problems getting emails through to some of "his women". He corresponds with several people around the world, a few of which are in the USA using Earthlink as their ISP. It seems that his emails are no longer getting through to them, and, as none of them are particularly computer literate, they can't understand why, and neither can he.

I wonder if the spam filter for Earthlink is over vigilant, and his emails are being blocked at the server. He often sends the same email to them all, addressing it to himself with "his women" as blind copies so that they don't get each others addresses - we're both vigilant in not passing on other people's email addresses both when sending multiples as he does, and when forwarding. His emails used to get through to them, but recently none have.

Has anyone had the problem of emails not getting through to you on Earthlink, and if so what did you do to get it rectified?
