My sister and I were in a supermarket in Reading (when we were there for
Lace Convention) and there were two signs hanging side by side over some
cooked chickens.
We were busy discussing the bad grammar and spelling on both signs, when the
manager of the dept arrived and asked if he could help (serving us with a
chicken, I assume). We told him we were just discussing the mistakes in the
signs and proceeded to point them out. One, I remember, was the use of
"your" instead of "you're". Don't remember the rest off hand. He said he
would arrange to have them corrected, but I don't know if he did or not.
(And it was good to meet you Jean!)
