Morning All
Now how long should it take to drive 5 miles? About 10 minutes?
Sounds reasonable doesn't it.... well.... this morning I left home
just after 8 as usual to drop my son off at school and get to Ferriby
for 8.30. The whole drive is 5 miles and I usually get to my school
at around 8.20 (that way I can ensure a parking space before all the
parents come with their little darlings).
At 8.30 I was just half a mile away from home! It took almost 1 1/2
hours to get to a point where I could turn round to get back home.
Total driving distance .... 1 1/4 miles, total time ... just under 2
hours. Crazy!
Sue in 1/2 inch of snow in the East Riding!! (About time people who
drive learned to drive properly! and I'm not saying it's you all, like
me, you're all sensible!!)
