I have to agree with you, Jean, and I do celebrate Christmas. I had to go to Tesco this morning as I realised I'd omitted a couple of things from my shopping list yesterday morning. I hadn't intended going again before Christmas Day and found the place absolutely manic. At least I was able to go round carrying a hand basket, which speeded things up, and the 'basket only' checkout till was free. On top of all you have said I'll add that our local Tesco is open for a few hours on Boxing Day - as are Spar shops and the little independents run by non Christians. I intend to spend Christmas Day in bed nursing my horrible chest and sinus infection :-( I'm probably heading there now. Happy Christmas (to those who like the greeting). Patricia in Wales
