This reminded me of lots of gifts, rings, brooches inside a box of
chocolates and lots of little poems inside gifts and cards.
Oh happy days.
He still manages the odd poem and has even written a song (without music)
and manages to help bring out some creative ideas in me from time to time.

Our engagement wasn't any elaborate, we talked about getting married and I
thought," sure, that sounds like fun, lets try that" 28 years later,
we're
still going strong.
They are so much more creative these days, our daughter got engaged on
Friday
night, she found her ring in a pumpkin that she was carving. Darren had
cut a
hole in the bottom of the pumpkin and put the ring box in and put it
together
with plumber putty and toothpicks!
