Well, we'd already been living together for a year and a half by this point and we were curled up in bed talking before we went to sleep. Somewhere in the conversation we decided that we probably should get married. I remember we got up, wandered out to the living room where our flatmate was still awake, told her we'd gotten engaged and then went back to bed.
