Yeah my grandfather actually drove a covered wagon with a team of horses from S Dakota to Minnesota when he was just a lad. In his 80's he took his first plane ride. He died at 101. My great grandmother was married in 1895 and died in the early 1970's...so she was a lot like your gran.
