Happy New Year to everyone on arachne.
My New Year has had an interesting start and I'm hoping that one of you may
be able to help me out.
I was bought a Samsung tablet a couple of months ago and have been having an
interesting time getting to know how to use it etc etc. Used it this morning
all was fine, but it was getting low on battery and so having switched it
off I then went and connected it to the mains to charge it - then instead of
the usual band whihc gradually turns green to show its charging the screen
went black a yellow warning sign triangle appeared with the image of a robot
shovelling something depicted in the middle below in yellow letters it reads
"Downloading... Do Not turn off target!!!"
Needless to say I wasn't expecting this and my first reaction was to unplug
and press the off switch again - absolutley nothing happens and hour on and
the screen still shows the sign and message and I'm still not able to do
anything at all with the tablet.
I'm assuming that it's been hacked but does anyone have any idea what I can
do please?
