Hello fellow lace makers
It is that time of year again when we make and exchange cards with
fellow Arachne members. I (Amber Lackey) will once again be organizing
the Exchange while Jenny Brandis has once again volunteered her
websight to archive the pictures and patterns. So, if you are
interested in participating please send me an email at [email protected]
with the following details listed:

Postal address:
How many cards you are willing to make:
Would you prefer your exchange partner to:
Be within your country of origin, or go
international (one note here please-we will try to match all requests
but remember that most entries come from the UK or USA)
Once again we will be asking you to provide a scan/picture of your work
for our exchange archive website, so if you could record the pattern
and thread details that would be great. Of course, if it is your own
design we would be delighted to receive a copy of the pattern too. Your
pattern will be linked to your picture and added to a set of patterns
in a downloadable PDF file. Send pictures and scans to
[email protected]
If you do not have a way to scan or email your pictures, you can take a
normal picture, do the snail mail method to me, and I will take a scan
and send it on to Jenny. Just ask for my address. (I am putting a
silght PS here reminding everyone who participated in this years
Bookmark exchange to send in your scans/pictures as we are missing
quite a few.)
The schedule will go as follows:
Sept 16 Sign ups begin.
Oct 15 Sign ups end
Oct 19 (or sooner) Pairings go out to everyone.
Start your lace if you have not already.
December 5 Lace should be in the mail by
this time for Christmas delivery. If you are going to be delayed,
please let me by this time.
