I too was saddened to hear of Erica's passing. We first met on Arachne and then in person when Erica and Ian visited Phoenix a few years ago and we had a luncheon with other lacemakers from the Valley. My husband Gene came along to the "ladies" luncheon so Ian had someone to talk to about guy stuff and wasn't stuck with singleminded lacemakers. :-) I regularly use the bobbin she gave me as a memento of their visit. Erica was a charming and gracious lady who will be missed by all who knew her.
