Here in the UK we have an overwhelming variety of meat on sale, from the usual pork, beef and lamb to venison, kangaroo and rabbit and even ostrich, many available in ordinary supermarkets not specialist butchers. We even get a choice on method of rearing: supercheap factory/intensive farming, free range, organic and 'freedom food' - not quite free range but overseen by the RSPCA I think.

Shame I don't much like meat and usually eat vegetarian food.
