Tamara, I hesitate to ask, because to me, the answer seems to simple that its
probably going to be thought really, really stupid!!!

Anyway, here goes: have you tried asking Gaye (of Torchon House) "direct" and
"in Oz" if you can buy the "winder" attachment from her? Her email address
is: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

If it helps pay for the thing, I know she takes Visa and Mastercard.

Speaking of "winder", "direct", and "Oz" in a single message... :)

Can anyone tell me if there's a way to get (directly) the
converter/attachment/whatever-it's-called for Continental bobbins for
the pocket winder (made in Oz, by Torchon House)? I have the winder
(bought some years ago), but it only winds my T-squares (also made in
OZ ) about half-way. I tried out the (borrowed) attachment and,
although my bobbins aren't "true" Continentals, it works very well, so
now I want one of my very own -- preferably before I take off for the
IOLI Convention (late July/early August). I think I might be able to
get it from a vendor here but, with the dollar having gone down the
toilet, if I could, maybe, save a buck, I'd like it well enough ...
