My DH is on a business trip to Germany and met up with a French gentleman that I have met a couple of times before. He asked Dh if I was still making lace and would I like some pattern things that he had found at his cottage in Le Puy. DH replied "You mean prickings I think" and said I would love to see them. I will let you know if I ever get them.
On another note, we are off to Madrid in July then driving through the Pyrenees to see some of the Tour de France in the mountains. I don't think there is any lace to see and we will be staying at fairly small towns but if anyone knows of something for me to see let me know. This is his vacation dream and I am along to navigate, although I did enjoy the parts of the Tour we saw last year in Brittany. I might get a lace fix in Madrid at the end of the two weeks.
