[lace] Sewing to cloth

There are days when you have to finally make things that were 
postponed... and postponed. Here I am with 6 lace squares that have 
been joined but without a filling in the center! I have one piece of 
Dentelles des Pays-d'en-Haut made in silk thread and I am wondering if 
I should use the same silk thread to make the sewing in 'point turc'.
