I would have voted for it myself but I had a vested interest. I wasn't even sure what kind of lace it was not being a needleworker. I think it was Jean Leader that said it was Limerick. Makes me want to take up a needle!!! Didn't we all do well, I didn't know that the third prize was also an Arachnean. I also liked the tatted gift box, was that by an Arachnean? Seems I jumped the gun posting my mask which has now disappeared from the web for the time being, but maybe the mention of all these lovely laces will encourage more people to join IOLI to get the patterns. Dont forget that the membership system has now changed and if you join by September 1 your membership will continue but if you join after that date you will not get the next issue of the Bulletin and there will be precious few extra copies to buy. IOLI are going to a rolling subscription where it starts after the date you send your dough. Of course you could enter the competition, get popular vote, and not have to pay. ;-) I also forgot to mention meeting up with all the other Arachne at our get together on Tuesday and during the week.
