To Liz Pass. Please pass on my Congratulations, Liz, to you Mum. So glad she has had a boost by winning a prize. I bet she is happy! No-one is ever too old to learn something new. Those who knew, or know of the late Gabrielle Pond, will know that, although she had the most marvellous collection of lace, and wrote a book about it, she only started to learn how to make lace when she was over 75. Then she produced a couple more books of her own patterns! How we miss her. We used to see her regularly at the bi-monthly Lace Days.
