I had the same reaction when I clicked on the photo to see the enlargement. I have, 
perhaps unfairly, thought of Irish laces as rather crude cousins to the more refined 
European laces, but this particular example is splendid. Unfortunately, I couldn't 
find any more info on the Web.

Wow!  It's beautiful!  It's reminiscent of Venetian Gros Point, with similar
florals and padded sections.  I had no idea Ireland, which has other lovely
laces, also had this.  Thanks for the info!
