Emerging from lurkdom to ask if it would it be considered advertising to mention that I have finished my new tatting book? Well, after two years of working on it, I have finished it. Doing a happy dance! It is larger and more detailed than the last tatting book I did.
this book is tatting with beads creating designs that fit over various shapes of ornaments enhancing those shapes. In my style of tatting with beads there are lots of beads in picots, over picots, beads shared with multiple picots and beads on the core threads. Now that the book is done, I have put away the little trees and all the ornaments. You see I kept them out until the book was done. Now, I am ready to begin to finish the project I started 3 years or so ago. Yes, it is another tatting book. A book of animal bookmarks. This should be great fun!
