I have worked with brass pins too & like Liz says left a project on the
pillows for far too long.
The pins in my Honiton pillow which is made of barley straw were
corroded so badly that I couldn't remove them without damaging the lace.
Sob!
The pins in a pillow made of biulders foam on which I was learning
Withof came out clean & shiny as new.
It must be that the barley straw holds humidity. Both pillows were
stored in a spare bedroom for about the same amount of time.
Any other ideas??
