Won't work. To do raised chevron gimp, you raise both inside ones and spread them in opposite directions (lift and separate). "Raising the right" is just the other half of the chevron--it produces a Z-twist gimp instead of an S-twist. It's the raising/lifting that produces a prominent gimp on the upper side, not whether it's left or right. You need to find a way to *lower* one gimp thread instead of raising it. Good luck! Robin P.
