You can also use the "stuff" you buy at drugstores (at least in Sweden) the kind of bandage that you use when you have hurt a finger, it is a cream stretchy roundwoven material that you thread on your finger. It is not as "good-looking" as the nets but it works. I use it on my machine embroidery spools. I can�t find the nets where I live that is why I tried this stuff.
