It allows me to move and breathe without disturbing the camera.
My camera has, as I have mentioned, a memory stick. This allows me to download the photos via a "flashcard" without hooking the camera directly to the computer. This saves on the batteries and some cameras suggest you have the AC plugged in. (AC - electrical current.) The other boon of a digital camera, is that when I have my studio set for the books, be it the cover or individual photos, I like the idea that I don't have to reset the 'stage' between looking at the photos. In the old day--(not that far ago) I used a regular 35 mm camera to do the photography. The stage would be set, shot, and then I would have to go have the film developed. Since -- most of the time the dining room is the photography studio and the table the stage-- I would have to take everything down, then reset the table later if the photos were unsuitable. Now I can shoot, see, and reshoot without disturbing the staged lace.
