My pillows are in a specially constructed cupboard where they are on shelves one above each other. My pillows have rings for a stand on the bottom. Putting the pillow flat on a shelf would result in only the ring being on the shelf, making the pillow subject to wobbling. So there is a U shape cut out of the corner of each shelf, where I can slide the ring in, so that the pillow itself sits on the shelf.
