I was at a workshop last year where one person was putting finishing touches to her Ascot hat. If I remember the conversations correctly the hats were made for an exhibition that was on for some time, including during Ascot, but I don't think that the hats were worn at Ascot. -- He who dies with the most of anything, is still dead.
